- Fun Facts: Went to OSU and is a die-hard Beaver fan. He loves to garden (lives on a farm!) and play golf. He was a football linebacker in high school. He used to be an Alt Ed counselor, so he is back where his heart is, working with alt ed students!
- School Staff Appreciation: Getting a new principal can always make you nervous, and getting a new one in the middle of COVID adds a whole new layer of concern. However, Mr. Hannan came in excited to be at AOS, eager to learn about how we do things, and focused on ensuring our students were having their needs met as best as we can during this time. He is a natural fit and already a great leader. We are fortunate to have him. I admire his willingness to fight for the students who need it the most during a time when students need us to fight for them the most and fighting is harder than ever. Thank you!
I love how Mr Hannan has taken the time from his busy schedule to get to know each of his staff members at his school. You can tell he really wants what is best for both his students and his staff!
It has been very little time since we met and I dare say that this is definitely going to be a good year for AOS. Our conversations have been so meaningful that shows your humility and respect for others. Since day one you have demonstrated consistency and confidence, and most importantly, your kindness.
Mr. Hannan has hit the (virtual) ground running in this new position! He is doing a great job of keeping things positive through all of this, and encouraging us to do our best!
We truly celebrate having Mr. Hannan as our principal. We believe in his skills, talents, and knowledge that he has brought to AOS. Things about him that I appreciate are that he talks to you, not through you. He has a kind smile and a positive attitude. He is a team player. He has a passion for our students here at AOS. He is open to new ideas, and when he listens to you he is giving you his full attention. And most importantly, he’s happy to be the AOS Principal every day! I am excited to see what this year brings.
Mark, thank you for making this transition seamless. I have enjoyed getting to know you and appreciate your constant willingness to be a listening ear. You are kind, giving, thoughtful and have a true passion for what you do. Thank you for encouraging me daily and creating a positive work environment always. You have been a great addition to our incredible team at AOS. Thank you!
